Basement bar project.

As Project Manager at BWS-CRG

This customer walked in with sketches and measurement in his hands and had very detailed requests. They wanted a built-in look for their fireplace surround and custom measurement requirements for their basement bar peninsula. Nearly all the cabinets of the bar have been specifically sized and adapted to their space with precision and great attention to detail.

Bathroom renovation project.

As Project Manager at BWS-CRG

This customer had clear in mind the look they wanted to achieve, but had a limited budget. They wanted a custom free standing look, without the downsides. Taking full advantage of the customizability of the cabinets and the skills of the installer, I designed a faux free standing vanity (using strategic installation of fillers with return to mimic lateral posts) that would fulfill all her demands while at the same time containing costs and maintenance requirement (the legs are purely aesthetic, as there is a structural recessed toe kick out of sight).

Sustainability project.

Commercial Studio II - Undergraduate

Inspired by Portobello Road, I designed a mall that would feature the decorative elements that characterize the original road and buildings. Nearly every fixture and finish is sustainable, including reclaimed stone paver, and reclaimed antique oak hardwood floors. The furniture provided in the back of the shops is made entirely of recycled materials. The mall is designed thinking of the local artists and artisans, and giving them a chance to showcase their work in a unique environment. See below the construction plan, and the millwork plan.
